No Need To Visit PS! FIR Copy Now At Your Doorstep
Hyderabad, Aug 7 (Maxim News): Usually, complainants go around police stations for a First Information Report (FIR). As per the orders of Cyberabad CP Avinash Mohanty, IPS, on experimental FIR was registered on the complaint of the elderly under the leadership of CI Narasimha Raju under the jurisdiction of Balanagar Police Station. From the police station, CI Narasimha Raju, Si Saritha Patel Reddy and Vinod along with them went directly to the complainants’ homes and handed them over. The surprised complainants and the locals who noticed expressed joy. They thanked the police personnel.
Speaking on the occasion, CI Narasimha Raju said that in order to avoid the need to go around multiple times to complain to the police for justice and get a copy of the FIR, this policy was initiated with the aim of increasing the trust of the people in the police system by examining the complaints given by the elderly and disabled, registering the FIRs and delivering it to their homes. He also explained that FIRs related to sensitive cases will be delivered to the homes of the Mufti. (Maxim News)
