No Urdu On Sign Boards, No Purchases: TADJAC

Hyderabad, April 28 (Maxim News): If there was no Urdu along with Telugu on the sign boards of shops in the twin cities, the Telangana Auto Drivers JAC has decided to launch “Urdu Nahin-Kharidari Nahin” campaign from May 1. If still some shop-owners do not include Urdu on their sign boards within next 40 days, the JAC would launch demonstrations from June 10 in front of the shopping malls, hotels and other business establishments demanding that the government cancel their licenses for ignoring Urdu language.

Speaking to mediaperons here on Sunday, TADJAC convener Mohd Amanullah Khan, complained that most of the sign boards in the twin cities are only in English and no Urdu and Telugu languages on the same. He also regretted that even after formation of separate Telangana and announcement of Urdu as second official language, justice was no Urdu on the Golconda fort sign board.

In the TSRTC Logo also, there was no Urdu as well as on different departments offices sign boards.
