No Water Supply In Parts Of Hyderabad Tomorrow

Hyderabad, Oct 26 (Maxim News): As part of the elevated corridor works underway in the city, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) will undertake a crucial pipeline expansion work. Officials said that the extension work of the 800 mm diameter MS (mild steel) pipeline at Paradise Junction will be undertaken. Due to this work, water supply will be severely disrupted in many areas for 18 hours.

The pipeline extension work will begin at 12 noon on October  27 and will continue for a total of 18 hours till 6 am on October  28. The work of connecting the MS pipeline from Maredpally to the control room via Sports Ground, Lee Royal Junction, Balamrai is part of this extension. Officials said in a statement that due to this work, water supply will be completely disrupted in the following areas. The residential areas are.. Nallakunta, Prakash Nagar, Mekalamandi, Bholakpur, Hasmathpet.

Key institutions/areas… South Central Railway office areas, Begumpet Airport, Balamrai Pumping Station vicinity. Since there is a possibility of water supply being disrupted due to this pipeline work. HMDA officials have appealed to the people and institutions of the respective areas to store water in advance keeping in mind this 18-hour disruption. They said that all steps are being taken to complete the work on time and restore water supply. They asked the people to cooperate and understand this temporary inconvenience. (Maxim News)
