Numaish 2026 Exhibition to Open at Nampally Grounds on January 1

Hyderabad, Dec 28 (Maxim News):  Minister Sridhar Babu on Monday announced the full schedule and arrangements for the Numaish 2026 exhibition at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds in Hyderabad. He said the 85th All India Industrial Exhibition will begin on January 1 and continue until February 15.

The minister stated that Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, along with Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, will formally inaugurate the Numaish 2026 exhibition. He added that the event remains one of the country’s oldest and largest consumer and industrial exhibitions.

Sridhar Babu said the exhibition will provide a major platform for small and medium enterprises to showcase their products. He noted that the government encouraged participation from MSMEs to strengthen local industries and promote business opportunities.

He informed that permissions have already been granted for 1,050 stalls at the exhibition. According to officials, these stalls will feature products from across India, including household goods, handicrafts, textiles, industrial items, and food products.

The minister said the Numaish 2026 exhibition will be open to visitors every day from 4 pm to 10.30 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, the exhibition will remain open until 11 pm to accommodate higher footfall.

He clarified that the entry fee has been fixed at Rs 50 per person. However, children below five years of age will be allowed free entry. He said the pricing was kept affordable to ensure access for families and visitors from all sections of society.

Sridhar Babu highlighted that the Numaish exhibition has a long history in Hyderabad and attracts lakhs of visitors every year. He said the event plays a key role in supporting traders, artisans, and manufacturers by providing direct access to consumers.

He added that arrangements are being made to ensure smooth visitor movement, safety, and basic amenities. These include lighting, sanitation, drinking water, and security across the exhibition grounds.

The minister stated that traffic management and public transport coordination will also be strengthened during the exhibition period. He said officials are working with multiple departments to ensure that the Numaish 2026 exhibition is conducted smoothly without inconvenience to the public.

He expressed confidence that the upcoming edition would see strong participation from traders and a large turnout from the public. He said the exhibition continues to remain a cultural and commercial landmark event for Hyderabad and Telangana. (Maxim News)
