Kothagudem/Hyderabad, june 17 (Maxim News): A tragedy occurred at the Bhadradri Kothagudem District Government Hospital. A nurse delivered the baby due to the unavailability of doctors. But the mother and child died after delivery.
Going into details, pregnant Vanaja (20) from Shambhu Gudem village in Gundala mandal was rushed to Gundala Government Hospital after she started having abdominal pain. However, there were no doctors available at the hospital at that time. As a result, the nurse there performed a normal delivery. But after delivery, the baby fell unconscious. The family members who noticed this rushed her to Illendu Government Hospital. The doctors who examined the newborn baby there said that she had already died.
On the other hand, the mother was rushed to the Khammam government hospital after suffering from severe bleeding after giving birth. She also died while undergoing treatment as her condition was critical. The victim’s family has expressed deep concern over the incident. They have expressed their grief that their daughter and grandson lost their lives due to the negligence of the doctors at the government hospital. They have demanded a full investigation into the incident and action against those responsible. (Maxim News)
