Omicron Scare: A village in Sircilla imposes self lockdown
The Corona commotion has resurfaced in Rajanna Sirisilla district. In Gudem village, Mustabad division, villagers enforced a self-imposed lockdown. A man who had returned from Dubai to his village Gudem was diagnosed with the Omicron variant. His mother and wife were just diagnosed with corona positivity.
Following the advice of health officials, the locals have enforced a 10-day self-lockdown in the village. The villagers chose not to go out, and the outsiders decided not to come to the village.
On the other hand, the person afflicted with Omicron recently took part in a charity event in the division attended by 53 people. The paramedics took samples from 53 persons and sent them to a lab for analysis.
