Hyderabad, Dec.3 (Maxim News): Cyber Crime Police here apprehended one Chavan Sriram, 22, of Fakirabad village under Navipet mandal of Nizamabad District, for making vulgar comment on facebook about the gangrape and murder victim Disha.
The CCPS police on November 30 registered a suo moto case wherein some unknown persons uploaded photos of the recent victim of sexual violence and murder “Disha” and also made vulgar and objectionable messages about her with facebook profiles.
The posts, which were being circulated, are very derogatory, obscene and vulgar against women. Based on the report, a case was registered in Cyber Crime Police Station, Hyderabad and under investigation. The accused uploaded photos of the victim and posted some vulgar comments. He used a profile ‘Stalin Sriram’ to upload the objectionable content, said Avinash Mohanty, Joint Commissioner, Detective Department, Hyderabad. Based on a report, the Hyderabad Cyber Crime police registered a case on November 30 and tracked down Sriram. He was arrested on Tuesday and produced before the court. (Maxim News)
