People Of Any Religion Can Join The Sangh: RSS Chief Bhagwat
Delhi/Hyderabad, Nov 10 (Maxim News): RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday announced that people of all religions, including Muslims and Christians, can join his organisation. However, he imposed a condition that anyone who is a member of the Hindu community, regardless of their religion, can join the RSS.
Responding to questions raised by the Congress on the details of RSS registration and funding, he said at a press conference that RSS was formed in 1925 and registration was not mandatory after independence. He made it clear that the Sangh does not support any political party, but only supports policies that it considers to be in the national interest. (Maxim News)
