People Should Not Be Afraid Of Current Situation: CV Anand
Hyderabad, May 7 (Maxim News): Hyderabad City Police Commissioner CV Anand advised people not to panic over the current situation in the country. He said that people should not believe fake news and panic.
In the wake of the high tension with Pakistan, a mock drill was conducted in four areas in Hyderabad under the name of Operation Abhyas. CV Anand supervised this mock drill which was conducted in four areas in Hyderabad under the name of Operation Abhyas. CV Anand said that a mock drill was conducted at 4 pm under the name of Operation Abhyas as per the orders of the Center. he said that a siren was sounded for two minutes to raise awareness. He said that a mock drill was conducted as if air strikes had taken place in four areas.
He said that the steps to be taken in case of attacks were demonstrated. He said that a mock drill was conducted on the steps to be taken by fire and medical personnel. He said that the performance and response of the officials of all departments were identified through these mock drills.
He said that the NDRF, SDRF, Revenue, GHMC, Municipal Administration, Police, Fire Department, Electricity, Transport and other departments all moved to the respective areas and took up relief measures.
CV Anand said that measures such as the procedure for transporting the injured to hospitals and controlling the fire were taken in this mock drill. The traffic police gave clearance to the movement of fire engines and ambulances. He said that the medical staff provided first aid.
He said that the injured were taken to hospitals on stretchers to save them. He said that all this is just a preparatory measure to increase the alertness of the people. He said that the mock drill was done to show how government departments will participate when such incidents occur.
He said that some mistakes were made in this too. He clarified that they will review the mistakes and work better. He said that steps will be taken to improve the preparedness needed to face catastrophic situations. He urged the people not to believe false news.
