Petition To Stop Installation Of Telangana Thalli Statue On Dec 9

Hyderabad, Dec 7 (Maxim News): The Telangana Thalli statue controversy continues to intensify. Intellectuals are raising their voices against the Congress government for creating the Telangana Talli statue without Bathukamma.

Revanth Reddy strongly condemned the action. Prominent writer Juluri Gauri Shankar has approached the High Court regarding the construction of a new Telangana Talli statue and to stop the unveiling of the statue on December 9 at the secretariat. 

The petitioner claimed that the people of Telangana, intellectuals, writers, poets, and artists strongly opposed the changes in the Telangana Thalli statue.  The Telangana society considers the changes in the statue as an attack on the existence of Telangana.  (Maxim News)
