Phone Tapping Case | Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept 22 (Maxim news): During the hearing on Monday in the phone tapping case, the Supreme court made a key remark to the SIT, the court was responding to the Telangana government’s lawyers’ complaint that Prabhakar Rao was not cooperating with the investigation.

It is known that the SIT has filed a petition seeking cancellation of the interim bail granted to A1 Prabhakar Rao in the phone tapping case.

A hearing was held in this regard on Monday. Telangana government lawyers Siddhartha Luthra and Additional Solicitor General Tushar Mehtra presented arguments.

He has also tapped the phones of journalists and judges. He is not even telling the password on the government phone. At this juncture, the protection from arrest provided to him should be removed, he appealed.

Responding to this, Prabhakar Rao’s lawyer Dama Seshadri Naidu said that his client has already attended the SIT hearing many times and that there is no truth in the claim that he is not cooperating. At this juncture, he has sought two weeks time to respond to the government’s allegations. With this, the Supreme Court has adjourned the next hearing of the case to October 8.

The court extended the interim relief, saying that no coercive action should be taken against him until the next hearing. It also made it clear to Prabhakar Rao that he must cooperate with the investigation. At the same time, it instructed the SIT to interrogate him and extract information from him. (Maxim News)
