Phone Tapping Case Update: Surveillance On 18 High Court Judges
Hyderabad, Jan 31 (Maxim News): Shocking facts are coming out in the investigation of the illegal phone tapping case. It has been found that the details of 18 judges working in the Telangana High Court during the previous government were found in the computer of the accused in this case. It includes the information of five female judges.
It is known that a case has been registered against a team led by former OSD of Telangana Special Intelligence Branch (SIB) Prabhakar Rao for illegal phone tapping. In this case, registered by the Hyderabad police, the phones seized from the accused and the computers used by them officially were sent to the Forensic Science lab (FSl) for analysis. The police have received an FSL report regarding the hard disk of the computer of the third accused. Bhujanga Rao. That computer contains profiles of constituency-level leaders of various political parties, MLA candidates, and several judges. Details of a total of 18 judges, including the profiles of three who recently retired, have been found. This includes information about a judge who went to the Supreme Court on promotion. Details of three others who were transferred from the Telangana High Court to other High Courts are also available.
Not limited to High Court judges, the profile of a key judge in the Nampally ACb courts, which were set up under the Prevention of Corruption Act, has also been found. It is learned that these profiles contain all the details like their photos, birth certificates, education, career, and family members. It seems that if the full details of the FSl report are revealed, more sensational things are likely to come to light. (Maxim News)
