PIL Filed Against Inauguration Of New Secretariat
Hyderabad, Feb 2 (Maxim News): A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the High Court of Telangana challenging the opening of a new Secretariat building on BRS president and Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao’s birthday.
Prajashanti Party president K.A Paul has filed a petition to this effect. He asked the High Court to direct the government the opening a new secretariat on April 14, the day of Dr. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, instead of February 17, KCR’s birthday. As the new secretariat was named after Ambedkar, it felt appropriate to inaugurate it on his birth anniversary.
In this case, K.A. Paul, who will make arguments as a party in person, has included CMO and Chief Secretary as defendants. (Maxim News)
