Hyderabad, August 16: The Google Pixel 11 series is now available for pre-order, with the new Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold set to reach buyers from August 20.
Google has equipped the new Pixel phones with its Tensor G6 processor and increased the base storage to 256GB across the lineup. However, higher RAM configurations are now limited to select storage variants on the Pro models.
Pixel 11 Series Pre-Orders and Key Upgrades
The standard Pixel 11 comes with 12GB of RAM and a 256GB storage option. It features a 48MP main camera with a larger sensor than its predecessor, alongside a 48MP-class telephoto system and an ultra-wide camera.
The phone also supports 25W pixel-snap magnetic wireless charging, up from 15W on the previous generation. Wired charging remains at 30W.
Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro features a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display with a sharper resolution. It also gets Google’s HiLight RGB LED, which works with Gemini Intelligence for notifications and other AI-powered functions.
The Pro model features a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide camera with auto-focus and a 48MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.
The larger Pixel 11 Pro XL comes with a 6.8-inch LTPO display and a 5,115mAh battery. It supports 45W wired charging and 25W wireless charging.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold has also received a slimmer design. It measures 10.1mm when folded and weighs 239 grams. Its 4,806mAh battery supports 30W wired and 25W wireless charging.
Google has also upgraded the fordable’s main camera to a 48MP sensor. The device comes with 16GB of RAM.
Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Buds Pro 2 Get New Features
Google’s Pixel Watch 5 retains much of the hardware design of its predecessor but doubles internal storage to 64GB. The smartwatch also gets Gemini Intelligence and improved health tracking capabilities.
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 have received a new Olive color option along with software improvements, including Dynamic ANC and an enhanced Live Translate feature.
Google is also continuing to sell the Pixel 10a as its affordable option. The device has received a significant discount in some markets, while the upcoming Pixel 11a is expected to arrive later.
Samsung Galaxy Foldables and S26 Prices Fall
The new Pixel 11 Pro Fold faces competition from Samsung’s latest fordable lineup. The Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra have received discounts despite launching recently.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is thinner and lighter than Google’s fordable. It measures 8.9mm when folded and weighs 215 grams, while packing a 5,000mAh battery and supporting 45W wired charging.
Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series has also seen substantial price reductions. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is reportedly available with discounts of up to €500 in some markets, bringing its price below €1,000 for the base model.
The Galaxy S26 and S26+ have also become more affordable, increasing competition for Google’s Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro models.
With the Pixel 11 series now entering the pre-order phase, Google’s latest phones will face strong competition from Samsung’s discounted flagship and fordable devices.
