PM Modi Calls NEET Paper Leak a National Concern

NEET paper leak | Hyderabad / New Delhi, July 21 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described the NEET paper leak as a national concern and called for united action by all states and political parties to prevent such incidents.

He made the remarks during the NDA Parliamentary Party’s Mangal Milan programme, according to Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju.

Addressing reporters after the meeting, Rijiju said the Prime Minister stressed that protecting the future of students must remain the country’s highest priority. He added that the government acted immediately after reports of the NEET paper leak surfaced.

NEET Paper Leak Requires United Action, Says PM Modi

Rijiju said authorities arrested 13 people in connection with the paper leak case and sent them to jail. He added that the government conducted the NEET re examination promptly to ensure that students did not suffer academic setbacks. The results were also declared without delay.

The Prime Minister urged legal experts to support efforts to secure the strictest punishment for those involved in paper leak cases. He said strong legal action would act as a deterrent and help prevent similar crimes in the future.

According to Rijiju, PM Modi said the NEET paper leak is not an issue limited to one state or the Central government. Instead, he described it as a challenge that affects the entire nation and the future of India’s youth. Therefore, he called on all political parties and state governments to work together to eliminate such crimes.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the achievements of young Indians across various sectors. He said the government’s time, energy, and focus should remain dedicated to empowering youth and creating opportunities for them to lead globally.

Rijiju said PM Modi congratulated Skyroot Aerospace for the successful launch of the Vikram 1 rocket. He noted that such achievements demonstrate the growing capabilities of India’s young innovators and entrepreneurs.

NDA Parliamentary Party

During the meeting, the NDA Parliamentary Party also welcomed newly elected Rajya Sabha members. Leaders discussed the government’s legislative agenda for the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament.

Rijiju said the Prime Minister reviewed recent national achievements, including free trade agreements signed with several countries. He stated that these agreements would benefit farmers and strengthen the country’s economy.

The Union Minister said the NDA would remain united to ensure the smooth passage of government bills during the Monsoon Session. He also appealed to Opposition parties to cooperate in Parliament and contribute to meaningful discussions in the national interest. (Maxim News)
