New Delhi, July 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for the strictest action against those responsible for the NEET paper leak, describing the prevention of examination paper leaks as a national responsibility.
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju shared the Prime Minister’s remarks after the NDA Parliamentary Party’s Mangal Milan meeting held on Monday.

Rijiju said the Prime Minister stressed the need to build a robust and transparent examination system free from irregularities. He urged all stakeholders to work together to strengthen the examination process and prevent future paper leaks.
He also said Modi asked NDA allies to remain united in supporting the government in Parliament. At the same time, the Prime Minister called on Opposition parties to contribute constructively, saying all Members of Parliament share responsibility for safeguarding the future of students and the nation.
The Prime Minister’s remarks come amid nationwide protests over the alleged NEET paper leak. Student groups have demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
According to Rijiju, Modi said the government acted immediately after the alleged leak came to light. He noted that the accused were arrested and the examination was ordered to be conducted again to protect the interests of students.
Meanwhile, social activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was on a hunger strike in support of the student movement, was shifted to a hospital by police after his fast continued for 21 days. He later announced that he would continue his protest from the hospital.
The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), which has been leading the protests, said its representatives met Union Minister JP Nadda and submitted a memorandum outlining their demands. The organisation said the meeting was cordial, while Nadda stated that the initiative for the dialogue came from the protesters.
