Ponnam Prabhakar Accuses Centre Of Blocking Telangana Growth

Hyderabad, August 22: Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar accused the Centre of creating obstacles to the state’s development.

He criticised the denial of political clearance for Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s proposed foreign visit.

Speaking in Siddipet district on Saturday, Ponnam demanded that Telangana BJP leaders explain the Centre’s decision.

He said states must develop to achieve Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Ponnam Prabhakar Seeks Central Support For Telangana

Ponnam said the Centre should provide Telangana its rightful funds and financial support.

He questioned why BJP leaders in the state were not demanding more funds and projects from the Centre.

He also alleged that neighbouring states were receiving greater financial support.

However, Ponnam said he was ready to work with the Centre beyond political differences.

He urged the Union government to cooperate with Telangana on development projects.

The minister made the remarks during the Palle Palleku Ponnam Anna programme in Akkannapet mandal.

He said the initiative aims to address public issues through direct meetings in villages.

Ponnam said officials and representatives were working to resolve problems raised by residents.
