Pregnant Woman Delivers Baby in Khairatabad Ganesh Queue
Hyderabad, Aug 27 (Maxim News): A shocking incident took place on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi. A woman gave birth to a baby boy in the Khairatabad Bada Ganesh queue. Going into details, a woman named Reshma from Rajasthan was standing in the queue to see the Khairatabad bada Ganesh. She was already pregnant and in pain in the queue.
The locas who were alert immediately delivered her. She was later shifted to the Community Health Center and is receiving treatment. Doctors have revealed that both the mother and the child are safe. The devotees who witnessed the incident are praising the Swami and saying that it was only by the grace of Lord Ganesha that the mother and child came out safe.
Heavy Security At Khairatabad Bada Ganesh
However, the Khairatabad Ganesh is being offered to devotees as Sri Viswasanthi Mahashakti Ganapati at a height of 69 feet. Officials said that there is a large crowd of devotees at Ganesh as it is the first day of the Vinayaka Chavithi festival. To this extent, the police are taking measures to prevent any untoward incidents. Heavy security has been provided along with huge cadres. Security will be monitored with 600 policemen and 60 CCTV cameras.
Devotees are being allowed to have darshan from 6 am to 11 pm every day until the evening of September 6. Traffic restrictions have been imposed in the surrounding areas of Khairatabad from August 27 to September 6. Traffic officials said that there will be traffic diversions from 11 am to night, depending on the crowd of devotees.

Devotees are flocking from various places to see the big Ganesh. On the other hand, since it is raining, the authorities are taking steps to ensure that the devotees do not face any problems. Nine types of Homas will be performed for nine days to Ganapati.
Similarly, one lakh Rudrakshas will be brought from Kashi and placed around Ganapati’s neck. Along with the wedding of Ganesha, one lakh Vinayaka Namarchana will be performed by retired government priests. A 60-foot heavy handloom yarn scarf and a 60-foot Gayatri Yagnopaveeta will be specially made and offered to Khairatabad Ganesha by handloom workers. (Maxim News)
