President Kovind to reach Hyderabad on Dec. 29

Hyderabad, Dec.21 (Maxim News): President Ramnath Kovind will reach Hyderabad on December 29 as part of his Southern India tour officially. It is confirmed that the President will stay till January 3 at the Rashtrapathi Nilayam, located at Bolaurm in Secunderabad.

According to information the President will arrive in the City at Begumpet Airport in a special IAF flight on December 29. Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar has directed the officials concerned to make all arrangements for the president’s visit and tour. The Chief Secretary who held a high level meeting with the officials at BRKR Bhavan Secretariat here has instructed that the roads leading to Rashtrapathi Bhavan in Bollaram area of Secunderabad should be repaired, 24 hours power supply, medical department to deploy medical teams and other departments to make arrangements as per the protocol at Rastrapahti Nilayam.

Somesh Kumar also asked the GHMC Commissioner, Cantonment Board CEO and other officials for effective coordination for regular upkeep of the roads with clean and green drive. Ensure that the President’s visit and stay in the city should be hassle free and smooth and complete security arrangements. The officials have already been busy making ready the Rashtrapathi Nilayam with all facilities and regular upkeep.

The CS instructed the DGP Mahender Reddy and CP Anjani Kumar and the top brass to provide necessary steps for complete security. With this the police, GHMC and revenue officials are coordinating for better arrangements.

Thus the President will stay here in the city for six days at the Rashtrapathi Nilayam. From this place Ramnath Kovind will attend some official programs. (Maxim News)
