Provide central security to Bandi Sanjay: demands BJP’s Gudur

Hyderabad, Aug.26 (Maxim News): Bharatiya Janata Party state senior leader Gudur Narayana Reddy on Friday appealed to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to provide central security to BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar.

In a media statement, he said that they have lost all the confidence on the Telangana Police and said that there was a risk to the life of Bandi Sanjay. He said that the Centre should provide protection with CRPF personnel and a bullet proof car to the BJP state president.

He said that ever since Sanjay has begun the third round of Praja Sangrama Yatra, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders have been creating problems. He informed that the TRS leaders and workers have attacked Bandi Sanjay when he entered Janagaon district.

He said that the Janagaon district leaders were unable to digest the success of the Padayatra and public meeting of Amit Shah, have planned to disturb the Padayatra of Sanjay Kumar.

“TRS leaders and workers have come in the guise of BJP leaders and attacked Bandi Sanjay recently. The BJP leaders have been threatened by TRS leaders. Even though the Padayatra has been continuing peacefully, the TRS leaders were trying to provocate the BJP leaders,” he said.

Off late Wardhannapet ACP G Ramesh has issued notice to Bandi Sanjay to stop the Padayatra. Sanjay was arrested and was sent to Karimnagar. However the High Court has questioned the notice of the Wardhannapet ACP and granted permission to continue the Padayatra.

“This is a fine example of the illegal activities of the police officers of the state. The police have been stooping low to appease their political bosses. The order of the High Court is a slap on the face of the Police,” Narayana Reddy stated.

He said that the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi has been stoking the flames of communalism in the state and blaming the BJP for this. He said that the ruling party has been trying to divert the attention of the people from the liquor scam.

“To divert the attention of the people of the state from the liquor scam, the TRS has intentionally permitted the show of Munawar Faruqui, a riff-raff, in Hyderabad. Industries minister KT Rama Rao was behind the permission to the show which has been opposed by Hindu groups. The Police have provided unprecedented security to Munawar Show,” he said.

The Munawar’s show has led to a string of adverse incidents and caused law and order problem in Hyderabad. Now the government wants to throw the blame on BJP for this situation and gain political mileage.

Strongly condemning the statements of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao that the BJP has been fanning flames of communalism, Narayana Reddy said that if it was true why there was peace in 19 BJP ruled sates in the country.

Faulting the CM for the comments that people should choose between ‘Pantalu… Mantalu…’ (good crops or communal flames), the BJP leader said that the CM has been deliberately trying to paint BJP as a communalist group.

“For the past eight years there were no communal clashes in Hyderabad. With the conspiracies of the TRS and MIM, the city may witness the communal riots at any time,” he said.

He said that the Chief Minister should be considered as incarnation of seventh Nizam of erstwhile Hyderabad State. He has been deliberately trying to crush the people of majority section. The people would teach a fitting lesson to KCR, he said. (Maxim News)
