‘Punjab 95’ Starring Diljit Dosanjh Set To Release In February 2025

The biopic ‘Punjab 95‘, which showcases the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, is finally set to release in February after a year-long delay caused by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film, starring Diljit Dosanjh, has faced issues in securing clearance due to objections from the CBFC, which proposed as many as 120 cuts to the film. However, following intervention from the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), the film has now received clearance and is expected to be released in its original form, without any cuts.
