`Pushpa’ Actor Jagdish Arrested

Hyderabad: Police have arrested Jagdish (Keshav), who played a supporting role in Allu Arjun’s `Pushpa’. He was arrested in connection with the suicide of a 31-year-old junior artist.

On November 29, Panjagutta police station registered a case after the artist took her life.

According to the Panjagutta police, the junior artist ended her life on November 29. After a comprehensive investigation, the police determined that Jagdish was responsible for her suicide.

After investigation, the police uncovered the events leading to the woman’s tragic death. On November 27, Jagdish secretly took pictures of the woman without her consent while she was with a companion. Subsequently, he used the images to blackmail her. Distraught by the incident, the woman took her own life.

Jagdish had been on the run since the incident. However, he was apprehended today. He has been remanded into custody.

Police revealed that Jagdish was previously acquainted with the deceased.
