Hyderabad, July 23 (Maxim News): Rachakonda’s Police Commissioner, Sudhir Babu, addressed senior officers, advocating for a shift from intervening in civil disputes. He emphasized using technology and preventative measures in crime control.

Officers were instructed to prioritize using CCTV footage and other advancements to solve crimes and apprehend criminals.

Commissioner Demands Vigilance and Zero Tolerance for Crimes

Commissioner Sudhir Babu also highlighted the importance of monitoring known criminals’ activities, treating station visitors with courtesy, and maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to crimes against women and children.

In a separate operation, LB Nagar and Jawaharnagar police collaborated to arrest two individuals transporting and selling drugs within the city.

Oma Ram alias Om Prakash (35) and Sanvalaram (33) were apprehended. They reportedly purchased papistra powder and MDMA from a supplier named Vikas alias Mukesh for resale.

Police seized 40 kg of papistra powder, 10 grams of MDMA, 3 mobile phones, and ₹10,000 cash.

The search for the absconding supplier, Vikas, is ongoing. (Maxim News)
