Rahul Promises To Accord Special Status To AP
Hyderabad, March 31 (Maxim News): AICC president Rahul Gandhi assured people of AP that he would accord special status to the State at the moment he came to power.
Addressing a public meeting at Gannavaram in Krishna district, Rahul Gandhi said the Congress has included the issue in their manifesto and added that he would never lie like Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also said they would make a “surgical strike” on poverty with the help of their scheme “Nyay” and drive poverty out of the country.
Reminding the people about the promise made by then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to grant special status to AP, he said the promise was made after a thorough process. He also alleged that Prime Minister Modi did not give anything to the State during his last five year rule. (Maxim News)
