Rain Alert: Heavy Rains In Telangana & AP In The Next Few Hours
HYderabad, Nov 4 (Maxim News): It is known that the Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning for the Telugu states. In this context, rain is lashing several districts of Telangana and AP. Heavy rain fell in Karimnagar, Warangal, and Jangaon in Telangana. Meanwhile, due to this sudden rain in Warangal, cotton and maize grains in the Enumamula market got wet. Meteorological experts have estimated that there is a chance of rain in Hyderabad from the afternoon. Meanwhile, moderate rain is falling in Anantapur and Nandyal in AP.
The Meteorological Department has also said that light to moderate rains will occur in the state today and tomorrow. Today, Nalgonda, Rangareddy, Suryapet and Vikarabad districts are likely to receive moderate rain in the next two to three hours. Moderate rains are likely to occur with a maximum surface wind speed of 41-61 kmph. Meanwhile, Hyderabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Jagtial, Khammam, Medchal Malkajgiri, Mahabubabad, Mahabubnagar, Mancherial, Medak, Mulugu, Narayanaputta, Peddapalli, Rajannasiricilla and Siddipet districts are likely to receive light to moderate rains. It has been revealed that light to moderate rains will occur in the combined Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Nizamabad and Nirmal districts. Heavy rain is already falling in several districts including the combined Warangal and Nalgonda. Heavy rain fell in the combined Warangal district in the morning. The rain, accompanied by strong winds, continued for about half an hour. Due to this, the roads were flooded. Heavy rain is expected in Nalgonda district.
Moist winds are blowing from the Arabian Sea towards Telangana. With this, temperatures are being recorded 2 to 3 degrees higher than normal in the state. It is said that the dry weather is likely to continue from Thursday. Heavy rain fell in many parts of the joint Warangal district on Tuesday morning. The weather in Warangal city suddenly changed. Heavy rain accompanied by gusty winds fell. The city roads were flooded due to the torrential rain that fell for about half an hour. Due to this, traffic came to a standstill at many places and motorists faced difficulties. Warangal, Hanamkonda and Kazipet areas have not yet fully recovered from the recent ‘Montha’ cyclone. With the fresh rain, there is once again a fear of flooding among the colony residents. It has been raining across Jangaon district since morning. It is raining in Station Ghanpur, Lingala Ghanpur, Tarigoppula, Narmetla and Bachannapet mandals.
In the villages of Vennampally, Somaram, Lasmannapally, Eklaspur, Duddenapally, Ramchandrapur, Jagiripally, Venkepalli and other villages in Saidapur mandal, heavy rain started falling in small amounts on Tuesday morning. Due to this, farmers who have been drying their paddy in the fields and on the roads are facing various difficulties. Farmers who recently suffered heavy losses due to Cyclone Montha are expressing their concern that this rain will cause further losses.
