Rain WARNING: Heavy Rainfall In Telangana Likely

Hyderabad, Oct 28 (Maxim News): Meteorological Department officials have issued a heavy warning for Telangana state. The Meteorological Department has estimated that heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur in many parts of Telangana state due to Cyclone Montha. It has been stated that if the cyclonic storm crosses the coast, there is a possibility of rain in many parts of Telangana. It has been said that gusty winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour and rains accompanied by thunder and lightning will occur. It has been said that heavy rains will occur in many districts from today (Tuesday) on the 29th and 30th. Meanwhile, light rains are already falling in many districts.

Meteorological department officials said that heavy rains will occur, especially in the districts marked in red on the Telangana map. Some places will receive 90-150 mm of rain.

Heavy rains will continue in the districts marked in blue, he said. Some places are likely to receive 40-70 mm of rain.

Meanwhile, heavy rain has already fallen in many places in Hyderabad city. Due to this, roads and colonies have become waterlogged. Also.. today (Tuesday) also.. moderate rains will fall in many places in the city, said the Meteorological Department officials. They said that it will rain from morning to afternoon today. They said that the rains are likely to decrease after evening. In the wake of the rains.. the officials have been alerted. People are advised to be alert.
