Raja Singh irked over opponents being given prominence
Hyderabad: BJP legislator from Goshamahal Raja Singh today made sensational comments against the party leadership once again.
Alleging that his opponents in his Assembly constituency were being given important posts in the party, Raja Singh shot a letter to the State party president Dr K Laxman asking him to remove him from the party if they feel that he was causing embarrassment to the party leadership. Since some time past, there was cold war between Raja Singh and the State party leadership. Raja Singh remained aloof from the party activities during the presidentship of Kishan Reddy. However, Raja Singh became active after Dr K Laxman took over as State party chief .
Raja Singh reportedly complained against the style of functioning of State party leaders during the recent visit of national party president Amit Shah to Hyderabad. He alleged that those who were working against him in the constituency were being given plum posts without his knowledge. He has written a letter to State party chief Dr Laxman requesting him to remove him from the party if they feel he was not needed any longer. Raja Singh reportedly complained to national party president Amit Shah that group politics increased in the party which was corroding the party image in the State.
