Raja Singh, known for his outspoken nature, took the opportunity to expose what he called the internal issues plaguing the Telangana BJP. He accused the state leadership of lacking fighting spirit, stating, “If BJP wants to come to power in Telangana, it needs warriors, not writers. Ramchandra Rao is a good writer, but not a fighter.”

He went on to question why the BJP failed to form the government in Telangana and hinted at internal betrayal. “Who backstabbed me? Who is responsible for the BJP’s failure? All of this will come out soon,” he said.

The MLA emphasized that he had no expectations of being nominated again and never aspired for any party post. “My fate is the fate of BJP workers. I resigned from the party with great sadness, not with any strategy,” he asserted.

Raja Singh also condemned what he called “fake propaganda” aimed at creating the impression that he is eager to return to the BJP. Responding to Dharmapuri Arvind’s comments that Singh could return anytime, the MLA reiterated that such speculation is baseless.

He further clarified, “I’m just an MLA, not someone who can directly call Amit Shah. I’ve never contacted him, and I never will.” He expressed disappointment that despite repeated letters and emails, the Telangana BJP leadership has remained unresponsive.

Raja Singh | BJP leader Madhavi Latha

In a sharp critique, Raja Singh also took aim at BJP leader Madhavi Latha, accusing a section of women in the party of making personal comments against him. “I won’t stoop to that level. If you have something to say, come say it to my face,” he said, adding that no one should fear him or feel threatened.

The MLA concluded his remarks by stating he has said all that needed to be said, leaving the ball in the BJP’s court. With the Goshamahal ticket still undecided for the upcoming elections, speculation is rife that Madhavi Latha may be planning to contest from the constituency.
