Hyderabad, Sept. 12: Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh urged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to hold a meeting with Hyderabad MLAs on city development.
Speaking in the Telangana Assembly on Saturday, Singh said he would support government efforts to develop Hyderabad as a global city.
He said MLAs should receive greater responsibility in Hyderabad development because they understand local issues.
Singh also recalled that the previous chief minister had not held a meeting with Hyderabad MLAs on the issue.

Singh said damaged roads and poor drainage remain major concerns across the city.
He also raised concerns about drainage water mixing with drinking water supplied in some slum areas.
Singh said the government’s plan for three corporations in Hyderabad should be discussed with elected representatives.
He questioned whether the Musi River could be developed within the remaining 15 months of the Congress government’s current term.
Singh also raised concerns about the growing mosquito problem in Hyderabad.
He criticised the reported 20 percent increase in property tax and said it was adding pressure on residents.
The MLA also alleged that officials were not responding to elected representatives despite repeated requests.
He urged the government to take action against officials who fail to address public issues.
Singh said Hyderabad has been described as a global city for years, but development has not matched those claims.
He said making Hyderabad a better global city was his goal and urged Revanth Reddy to seek suggestions from city MLAs.
