Rajagopal deserted Congress for self gain, Talasani sure of TRS nominee sweeping Munugode

Hyderabad, Oct.14 (NSS): Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, former Congress MLA of Munugode Assembly constituency, claiming that he had quit the party and his legislator post for development of Munugode constituency was astonishing as he deserted the party for his self gain, said Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today.

Inaugurating development works costing Rs 97 lakh in the Bansilalpet Division under Sanathnagar Assembly constituency on Friday, the minister demanded that the BJP MLAs, who had won Dubbak and Huzurabad Assembly seats in the byelections to declare how much money they spent for development works there so far.

Alleging that the BJP leaders from the Centre and the State were indulging in loose talk irresponsibly, Srinivas Yadav said the people in the State were not in a position to believe them. He also lashed out at the saffron party leaders for talking about castes and religions at the time of elections. He also asserted that the K Chandrashekar Rao government alone was capable of achieving monumental development in the State. He also explained that many development works were going on in the State after formation of Telangana State in 2014. He also pointed out that Chief Minister KCR has credit for introducing unique welfare schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi, KCR kit, distribution of Aasara pensions, agriculture input scheme for farmers and so on.

Hitting out at Union minister G Kishan Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav demanded that the former spell out how much money he brought from the Centre after his election as MP till now and asked him to disclose what he had done for the people, who had elected him. He also advised Kishan Reddy to compete with them in development, but not to lose his tongue senselessly.

Asserting that the people all over the State were living happily like in Rama Rajya under the stewardship of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Srinivas Yadav exuded confidence that the people of Munugode would cast their votes en masse to TRS candidate Koosukuntla Prabhakar Reddy in the November 3 byelection.
