Republic Day Parade 2026 Tickets Sale To Begin From January 5
Republic Day Parade 2026 | New Delhi, January 3: Sale of tickets for the Republic Day Parade 2026, the Full Dress Rehearsal of Beating Retreat, and the Beating Retreat ceremony will begin from January 5, 2026, according to official information released by the Ministry of Defence. The ticket sale will cover events scheduled between January 26 and January 29, marking the concluding phase of the Republic Day celebrations.
Tickets for the Republic Day Parade, to be held on January 26, 2026, will be available in denominations of Rs 100 and Rs 20. The sale will continue from January 5 to January 14, starting daily from 9 am until the quota for the day is exhausted. Meanwhile, tickets for the Full Dress Rehearsal of Beating Retreat on January 28 will be priced at Rs 20, while tickets for the main Beating Retreat ceremony on January 29 will cost Rs 100.
Officials said citizens can purchase tickets directly through the Aamantran portal at www.aamantran.mod.gov.in. However, tickets will also be sold offline at designated counters across six locations in the national capital. Buyers must produce an original photo identity card at the time of purchase.
Republic Day Parade 2026 ticket sale details announced
The offline ticket counters will function at Sena Bhawan, Shastri Bhawan, Jantar Mantar, Parliament House reception, Rajiv Chowk Metro Station, and Kashmere Gate Metro Station. The counters will remain open from January 5 to January 14. Tickets will be sold in two slots each day, from 10 am to 1 pm and again from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Officials clarified that accepted identity documents include Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, and identity cards issued by central or state governments. The same photo identity card must be carried by ticket holders while attending the Republic Day Parade, the Full Dress Rehearsal of Beating Retreat, and the Beating Retreat ceremony.

Meanwhile, authorities urged visitors to follow all entry guidelines strictly. They also advised citizens to verify ticket availability in advance, as daily quotas are limited. Therefore, early booking is expected to help avoid inconvenience.
The Ministry of Defence also said that additional information related to Republic Day celebrations 2026 is available on the official website rashtraparv.mod.gov.in. These annual events attract large public participation and showcase India’s military traditions, ceremonial music, and cultural heritage. As a result, officials expect high demand for tickets once sales open on January 5.
