Revanth Announces to Dedicate This Year For Welfare And Development of Farmers, Women, And Youth

Hyderabad, April 2 (Maxim News): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has already started working in that direction. He announced that this year would be dedicated to farmers’ welfare, women’s empowerment, and youth growth. Comprehensive and inclusive growth of all sections of society has been the central idea of the Congress government in the state.

Several initiatives and decisions taken during the past few months are evident in the government’s declaration and its concern for these sections. This decision was taken because these sections needed the government’s urgent attention the government has given youth, Women, and Farmers’ welfare top priority government.  

Although other sections are not being ignored, the government has started schemes and looked into these sections immediately with priority. The Chief Minister has kickstarted the Free RTC Bus Travel (Mahalakshmi) for women within two days of taking charge of the office. The decision has been widely appreciated and won accolades despite mud-slinging by the opposition parties.

Launching Rs 500 a cooking gas cylinder was another scheme that directly benefited women besides the entire family. Similarly, the government has decided to give utmost priority to the Women Self Help Groups and hand over government works to them in a phased manner. Several women village entrepreneurs were given awards and loans also.

Another remarkable scheme for the welfare of families through women was the launch of Indiramma Housing. Each constituency was allocated 3,500 Indiramma Houses and the government has decided to register them in the name of women members of the family. The vision of the government has been clearly stated to make women millionaires. Justice was done with women in the matter of recruitment also.

Coming to the promises and initiatives for youth, several steps were taken in this direction. As promised, appointment letters were handed over to about 30,000 and above youth in various departments. Group-I notification was issued after canceling the previous one. Another notification of DSC was also declared and it was decided not to collect any fee for TET. Several steps taken in this direction have filled youth with confidence and their lost confidence in the government was restored considerably.

Youth were highly upset with the set of events that occurred in the previous regime in the form of lack of transparency, paper leakage scandals; irregularities in recruitment procedures, and haywire in monitoring the process. However, as announced, the new government started taking care of the youth and showing them the path of progress through its initiatives.

Finally, the farmers were also taken care of dearly as per the announcement. Several new initiatives have already been announced and deliberations started in this direction to benefit more and more farmers. Several irregularities of the previous regime were unearthed and dubious methods were stopped. CM announced to constitution of a Rythu Commission in the state. Rythu Bandu is to be disbursed to the eligible farmers having lands less than 5 acres.

The Rythu Nestham program was started to facilitate the farmers across the state. This setup will surely help the farmers to understand the new trends in agriculture, safe methods, and profiting methods of farming and be aware of government programs for them.

The government has also decided to protect the rights of tenant farmers by bringing a law in this matter. (Maxim News)
