Kodangal/Hyderabad, Sept 5 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that numerous changes are being introduced in the Education Department. He said that the long-standing pending promotions have been concluded and assured that the issue of transfer of teachers is being looked into with care.
Speaking on the occasion of the Teachers’ Day celebrations at the Government Junior College in Kodangal on Saturday, he said that teachers and parents are the pillars on which the future of the children rests. He also promised to resolve teachers’ issues amicably if given a two-year timeframe.
“Students across the state have enrolled in government schools; I, too, studied in a government school. The government is extending full support for technical education. No changes are being made to the polytechnic education system. We are resolving many issues through the Education Commission. Immediately after the Congress government assumed office, we resolved the PRC issue. It was distressing to see teachers staging a protest at Indira Park recently,” Revanth Reddy said.
Earlier, the Chief Minister visited a photo exhibition organized on the college premises and posed for a group photograph with the teachers. (Maxim News)
