Revanth Reddy Promises 100 MLA Seats And 15 MP Seats For Congress In Next Elections

Hyderabad, July 5, 2025 (Maxim News): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has made a bold prediction ahead of the next elections, promising to deliver 100 Assembly seats and 15 Lok Sabha seats for the Congress party. Speaking at a grand gathering of Congress grassroots workers at LB Stadium in Hyderabad, Revanth assured the party leadership that he would take full responsibility if even a single seat falls short of the target.

The Chief Minister was addressing thousands of Congress workers in the presence of AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and other senior leaders. He highlighted the party’s recent successes and emphasized his vision for the next phase of Telangana’s development.

Revanth said the state currently has 119 Assembly constituencies, but with the upcoming implementation of women’s reservation, the number of constituencies will be increased to 150, with 60 women MLAs expected to be elected.

Congress Successes Under Revanth Reddy’s Leadership

Revanth credited the party’s united efforts for defeating the BRS and dismantling what he called the “arrogant KCR family rule.” He said predictions that the Congress government would collapse or fail to deliver on its promises have been proven wrong.

Challenge to BJP and BRS

The CM challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, and former CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao to a public debate on farmers’ welfare. He asserted that the Congress government has already implemented key initiatives such as Rythu Bharosa, loan waivers, and bonuses for paddy farmers, despite financial constraints.

“We’re not just making promises — we are delivering results,” Revanth said confidently. “Let the opposition come forward for a debate. We are ready.”

Appeal to Cadres and Focus on Local Body Elections

Revanth urged party workers to gear up for the upcoming local body elections and take the fight to social media. “You don’t need to go to Delhi to seek tickets. The leadership will bring them to your doorstep if you work hard,” he told the crowd.

He also encouraged the cadre to expose the failures of BRS and BJP and promote the Congress government’s welfare schemes at the grassroots level.
