Revanth Reddy Says KCR Has Not Come Out In 1,000 Days

Hyderabad, Sept. 5: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Saturday took an indirect swipe at former CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Revanth Reddy said he had not taken a single day off in 1,000 days while working for public welfare. He claimed another leader had not stepped out even once during the same period.

Speaking on Teachers Day, the Chief Minister urged teachers to give his government two years to resolve their problems.

He said teachers could judge his performance in the upcoming elections if the government failed to address their concerns.

Revanth Reddy Highlights Changes in Education Sector

Revanth Reddy praised teachers for shaping students and laying the foundation for their future.

He said teachers had faced neglect and low salaries during the previous 10 years. However, he said his government ensured that teachers received salaries on the first of every month.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the completion of the DSC recruitment process in 55 days. He said 11,000 teacher posts were filled through the process.

He said his government also released thousands of crores in pending retirement benefits after coming to power.

Further, the government sent government teachers abroad for study programmes, according to Revanth Reddy.

He said admissions in government schools had increased significantly under his government.

Revanth Reddy also claimed that Telangana had reached 17th position nationally in government education.
