Missing 45 Acres in Erravalli | Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to issue a survey notification to identify 45 acres of unaccounted land in Erravalli and neighbouring Venkatapuram villages in Siddipet district.
The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of an inquiry into the land discrepancy at the MCR HRD Bodhi Pavilion. The inquiry followed discussions in the State Legislative Assembly on September 16.
During the review, officials reported a discrepancy between recorded land and the area identified in a recent survey. Revenue records show 388 acres under Survey Number 325 in Erravalli village. However, the latest survey identified only 343 acres, leaving a difference of 45 acres.

Revanth Reddy directed officials to issue a notification for surveying the land in Erravalli and neighbouring Venkatapuram village. The survey aims to establish the location and status of the missing 45 acres.
Officials said they would issue notices to former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and his family members. Their lands are located near Survey Number 325, and the notices will seek their land records.
Government Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju, CMO Principal Secretary Seshadri, and members of committees investigating land irregularities and alleged Dharani-related irregularities attended the review meeting.
Land Distribution and Telangana Martyrs’ Colony
The Chief Minister directed officials to distribute the land identified under Survey Number 325 among eligible local farmers.
He also ordered the construction of a Telangana Martyrs’ Colony for the families of those who sacrificed their lives during the Telangana movement. Officials were asked to allot housing plots to the families and provide all necessary infrastructure.
Revanth Reddy suggested assigning the construction responsibility to the Housing Department. He directed officials to complete the colony by June 2.
Education Hub Planned in Velikatta

The Chief Minister also proposed an education hub in Velikatta village of Kondapak mandal. The plan includes a Young India Integrated School alongside other educational facilities.
He instructed officials to exclude assigned lands and Mission Bhagiratha lands from the proposed development area.
CM Directs Careful Use of Reservoir Water
Revanth Reddy asked officials to use water in reservoirs and lakes carefully amid the El Niño conditions.
He also directed officials to identify people using Mallanna Sagar water without authorisation. He instructed them to take appropriate action against those found using the water illegally.
