Hyderabad, Feb 13 (Maxim News): While people are panicking due to the fear of bird flu, some chicken center owners are selling rotten chicken for a pittance. They have opened this business by jeopardizing the health of the people.
The North Zone Task Force police and Cantonment Board Health officials inspected the Anna Nagar Chicken Centers in Secunderabad Cantonment. This matter came to light during these inspections. During the inspections, about five quintals of rotten chicken were found in two shops. The officials seized the rotten chicken.
Rotten Chicken Being Sold
The authorities were shocked to find rotten chicken mixed with chemicals and spices. The locals complained that despite repeated complaints, local leaders did not pay attention.
Despite repeated raids, seizures, and cases, some traders are playing with people’s lives by changing places and selling rotten chicken.
Inspections by the authorities revealed that rotten chicken is being supplied to wine permit shops, toddy shops, and bars at low prices. (Maxim News)
