Tirumala, June 7: Vizag based MK Builders Managing Director Ramakrishna donated a total of Rs 20 lakh to two Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams trusts on Sunday. The contribution was made towards healthcare and free meal initiatives operated by TTD.
The donor contributed Rs 10 lakh to the Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust and another Rs 10 lakh to the Sri Venkateswara Anna Prasadam Trust.
Ramakrishna handed over the demand drafts to TTD Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra at the Ranganayakula Mandapam in the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple.
The Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust supports medical assistance programmes, while the Sri Venkateswara Anna Prasadam Trust provides free meals to devotees visiting Tirumala.
Rajya Sabha member Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and TTD Board member Vemireddy Prashanti Reddy attended the donation programme.
TTD officials appreciated the contribution and noted that donations to its charitable trusts support various welfare and service activities for devotees and the public.
