Rs. 9,000 Crores Rythu Bharosa In Just 9 Days – A Historic First in State’s History: Bhatti Vikramarka
Hyderabad, June 23 (Maxim News): Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka asserted that the Congress-led Praja Government is implementing several welfare programs across the state. Speaking at a meeting held at Gandhi Bhavan, he highlighted that, for the first time in the history of the state, the government has disbursed ₹9,000 crores under the Rythu Bharosa scheme within just 9 days.
He stated that along with this massive support for farmers, the government is also implementing schemes like: Free bus travel for women, ₹2 lakh farm loan waiver, Free electricity for farmers, Subsidized gas cylinders, Distribution of subsidized rice to the poor.
He emphasized that the Indiramma Praja Government has allocated substantial funds to implement Rythu Bharosa on an unprecedented scale. While the previous assistance was ₹10,000 per acre, the current government has added ₹2,000 more, making it ₹12,000 per acre.
He informed that support is being given for 1,49,39,111 acres, and unlike before—where the benefit was limited to farmers with only 5 to 10 acres—the current scheme covers all agriculturally viable lands, without restrictions.
Bhatti Vikramarka proudly stated that the entire Rythu Bharosa process was completed within just 9 days — from June 16th to June 24th — marking a record in the state’s history.
He added that on the final day (June 24), meetings would be held at Rythu Vedikas across the state, bringing farmers together. At the same time, the Chief Minister along with state ministers will address farmers from the Rajiv Gandhi statue near the Secretariat.

Since this initiative follows the vision of the Congress party, he urged that the efforts of distributing nearly ₹9,000 crores for about 1.5 crore acres in just 9 days should be widely publicized by mandal-level committees. He also called for grand celebrations across all mandal centers in the state.
The meeting was also attended by PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, AICC Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, AICC Secretary Challa Vamsichand Reddy, and other Congress leaders. (Maxim News)
