Safe evacuation of Indians from Ukraine is top priority of government: PM Modi
February 27: On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that the Central government is working around the clock to guarantee the safe repatriation of Indian people stuck in Ukraine. PM Modi remarked at a public meeting in Uttar Pradesh’s Basti that thousands of Indian people have been safely returned home as part of ‘Operation Ganga.’ The Prime Minister went on to say that people who have taken commissions in defence transactions cannot be trusted to operate in the national interest.
‘We must make our country ‘atmanirbhar’ and powerful enough to deal with problems. ‘We must rise above caste and other considerations to stand with the nation,’ PM Modi urged.
