Sand Crisis In AP: Pawan Urges Guv To Intervene And Help Construction Workers

Vijayawada, Nov.12 (Maxim News): Janasena party president Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday wrote a letter to Governor Biswabushan Harichandan requesting him to intervene in the issue of sand scarcity and direct the State government to immediately respond to the crisis.

The cine-hero-turned Pawan Kalyan stated in his letter that he was receiving complaints from over 35 lakh workers in construction activity that they were facing innumerable hardships due to sand crisis. He stated that they have been receiving several representations in the matter and raised the issue on several fora, but unfortunately there has been no response from the State government to safeguard the welfare of construction workers. He stated that Janasena party organized a huge “Long March” in support of construction workers urging the State government to correct the discrepancies of their new sand policy. (Maxim News)
