Hyderabad, Dec.24 (Maxim News): Telangana State Election Commissioner Nagireddy conducted a video conference with all the Municipal Commissioners of state at the State Election Commissioner’s office at Masab Tank.
He said that the forthcoming municipal election notification would be issued in the month of January. He discussed with the officials on preparation of draft voters list, electoral arrangements, enforcement of election code, and related matters. He said that a video conference will be held on December 27 with District Collectors and a meeting with all political party leaders will be held on December 28. Nagi Reddy said that the paper needed for printing of ballot papers, and ballot boxes were kept ready. He said that the Municipal elections will be held on the basis of electoral rolls as on January 1, 2019. He wanted the officials to prepare ward-wise voters lists.
