Sharmila Padyatra Entered In The Indian Book Of Records

Hyderabad, Aug 15 (Maxim News): The name of YSRTP Chief Y.S Sharmila, daughter of the late Chief Minister of the United Andhra Pradesh state Y.S. Rajsshekhara Reddy has entered into the Indian Book of Records for the Praja Prasthanam Padayatra for walking 3800 kilometers in Telangana State. 

Sharmila became the first woman to walk 3800 km.  On this occasion, the representatives of the Indian Book of Records congratulated Sharmila and presented the award. 

On October 20, 2021, Sharmila started the Padayatra from Chevella, the area where her father YSR started Padayatra.  the trek lasted for almost a year and a half.  Even though there were many obstacles in the Padayatra, Sharmila went ahead in the Padayatra regardless of them.  Sharmila criticized the Telangana government as part of her padayatra

Police arrested Sharmila as tension arose in Narsampet over her comments.  After that, the Padyatra was stopped for a few days, then she went to the Court and got permission for the Padyatra.  Sharmila did a padayatra in AP too.  But in Telangana, Sharmila has entered the Indian Book of Records by walking a long distance at 3800 kilometers.
