SHE & Bharosa Teams to organize VR1 Run on March 17

Hyderabad, Feb.28 (Maxim News): The SHE Teams of Hyderabad City Police have been actively hosting events and programs and has made a significant presence in the communities as well as among the population.

The SHE Teams and the Barosa Teams with their focus and tireless approach to make the society aware of their responsibility towards women have slowly and steadily built the movement for bringing about respectability for women. Today the processes have led to many Innovative approaches thereby creating the right impact in the society. This innovative and focused approach has led to a unique idea and creation of a Slogan “V R 1” on the occasion of the International Women’s Day this year.

The first event under the banner of “V R 1” is the V R 1 Run where a committed effort was being made to get maximum number of people to participate in the run from all walks of life especially students, professionals and children so as to inculcate the concept of looking at each other with dignity and equality and make Hyderabad as the best and the safest city in the World.

The V R 1 Run is scheduled to be held on March 17 at the People’s Plaza on the Necklace Road. On the evening before the Run, an entertainment event with a few bands from Hyderabad was being planned to create enthusiasm as well as visibility and make all the visitors to this hugely popular weekend outing location aware of the concept.

The Curtain Raiser for V R 1 Run was held today wherein Rajiv Trivedi, IPS, Principal Secretary to Govt. Home Department, Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, Burra Venkatesham, IAS, Secretary Tourism; Culture Department, Addl CP Shikha Goel, IPS, Crimes & SIT Hyderabad city, Naina Jaiswal, International Sportswoman, Nikhil Siddharth, Film Actor were present.

On the occasion, the Logo & theme were unveiled, T-shirt, Poster & Medals were launched by the dignitaries. The dignitaries appealed to the citizens of Hyderabad to join the She TEAMS on March 17 at the People’s Plaza making this V R 1 Run as the most successful event of the year. (Maxim News)
