It is reported that people are reluctant to give their details as part of this survey. It seems that they are expressing doubts about if they tell any other details including names, caste, financial details, which schemes they will apply for, etc. The ration card will be canceled. Due to this, the enumerators are complaining that there is a huge delay in the survey due to not getting correct answers from the people.

Especially many questions coming from the 19th column in the survey questionnaire are causing concern among them. It seems that many people are reluctant to disclose information such as business turnover, income tax payments, annual income, bank account details, lands, Dharani passbook details, etc. Not only this but when asked about the details of benefits and reservation results from the government. Apart from this, it seems that people show extreme reluctance when questions about family financial conditions are asked in Part 2 of the survey questionnaire. It seems that when asked about details related to livestock, vehicles, ration cards, immovable property, houses, bank loans, debts, and assets, the information is not given.

When the details are revealed, it is reported that counter questions are also being raised. Will the government pay the loans if they don’t pay them? Why should I tell you the details of the assets? It seems that people are denigrating the enumerators. If we look district-wise, many people in the combined Warangal district have not given their income details correctly.

The enumerators also faced counter questions like Why did you ask for the details of Dharani? Also, it seems that the details of inter-caste and inter-religious marriages in the agency area of the combined Khammam district are not given. The aadhaar number and bank passbook details of the joint Nalgonda district did not come forward.

People in joint Adilabad and joint Mahabubnagar districts also hesitated to tell the details of their property and lands. Some others are questioning why the land details are not provided when the farmer is not assured. (Maxim News)
