Singapore High Commissioner Simon Wong meets KTR

July 13: Telangana Industry and Information Technology Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) said on Tuesday that if Singapore businesses express an interest in investing in Telangana, the state government will establish an exclusive zone or Singapore hub.

He offered the proposal at a meeting with a Singapore group led by Singapore’s High Commissioner to India, Simon Wong, at Pragathi Bhavan in Hyderabad. KTR said there are many opportunities in various sectors for putting investments in the state. ‘Singapore businesses were eager to invest in information technology, innovation, and new sectors such as blockchain,’ KTR stated.
