Six Months Imprisonment Sentenced To Jaya Prada
In Tamil Nadu, a court in Egmore has sentenced Jaya Prada and three others to six months in jail. They are being punished for not paying the worker insurance money at a movie theater.
Jayaprada, Ram Kumar, and Rajababu ran a movie theater on Anna Road in Chennai. The Labor Insurance Corporation found out they didn’t pay the insurance money collected from the workers at the theater. The corporation then complained to the court.
The court looked into the matter on Friday and found them guilty. Besides the jail term of six months, the court also ordered each of them to pay a fine of Rs.5,000.
