Solar Panel That Generates Electricity From Rain

Internet/Hyderabad, April 14 (Maxim News): As an alternative to traditional electricity use, is the generation of electricity by absorbing energy from sunlight.  As this technology is now gaining momentum, solar power generation is being carried out on a large scale as art of green energy all over the world.  Countries around the world are competing in the production of solar panels.  Big companies are compelling and generating electricity.

However, it is known  that there are some challenges in harnessing solar energy.  Electricity can be generated only when there is sunlight.  It does not happen at night.  In addition, the rainy season is a bit of a problem.  Even when the weather is cloudy, electricity production stops.  Or it is at a very low level.  Scientists have achieved remarkable success in their efforts to overcome this.  Making solar panels that can generate solar electricity even in the rain seems to be another step forward in this field.

Solar devices have been developed to harness the kinetic energy of raindrops to absorb energy when it rains, using high-efficiency Perovskite solar cells and triboelectric nanogenerator technology.

This device has a photovoltaic surface on a 100 nanometer thin surface that can capture 110 volts of energy from a single raindrop.  It is designed to absorb the energy in the raindrops without letting water in.  This means that it is designed to absorb energy in any conditions, regardless of the weather.  This means that when it is sunny, it absorbs energy from the sun, and when it rains, it absorbs energy from the raindrops, helping to generate electricity.,

This helps in maintaining the stability of the grid.  This means that it helps in overcoming the problems that arise in the grid due to lack of power supply during darkness or rain.  This means that this technology is useful for generating electricity continuously, in all seasons.

The original method of solar power was to generate electricity only when the sun was shining and the sky was blue.  But according to current technology, electricity is generated in a hybrid way.  Electricity is generated by extracting energy from falling raindrops using the triboelectric effect method.  A special system has been developed to absorb this energy.

Each droplet creates an electrical charge on the panel.  A special device absorbs that charge.  The European Research Council (ERC) says that this technology could help eliminate the need for traditional batteries. (Maxim News)
