Some Section Of People Provoking Muslims By Showing UCC: PM Modi

Bhopal/Hyderabad, June 27 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that some sections of people are provoking Muslims by showing the Common Civil Code (UCC) as a bogey. If one law applies to one person in the family and another law applies to the other, can the family run smoothly? he asked.

He questioned how our country can progress with such a dual system. The Supreme Court has said many times that UCC should be brought.

Modi inaugurated five semi-high-speed Vande Bharat trains in Bhopal today, later he addressed the BJP workers. He said that the Supreme Court has said many times to bring a UCC. Expressing confidence in winning the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, people have decided to bring the BJP to power for the third time. He said that the BJP will achieve a huge victory in the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. That is why the opposition parties are deeply worried.

He accused the parties of vote bank politics of denying the rights of economically and socially backward Muslims, ignoring them, and neglecting them. He said those who speak against triple talaq have done immense injustice to Muslim girls. He said that triple talaq not only causes injustice to the girl children but also to their families. If this system is the most important part of Islam, why is it banned in countries like Qatar, Nordan, and Indonesia? He called upon the Muslims to realize that the opposition parties are using the UCC as an excuse and inciting it for political gain.

It is known that BJP is reaching out to Pasmanda and Bora Muslims, but these forces are preventing Muslims from uniting with BJP.

The Law Commission of India started the process of reviewing the UCC last month. People and religious organizations have been asked to express their views on this. Different religions have different laws for marriage, divorce, adoption of children, inheritance rights, etc. The BJP has earlier announced that its aim is to bring a single law for all the people of the country in these matters.

the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the repeal of Article 370 which gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir are also the ambitions of the party. while the construction of the Ram Temple continued, Article 370 was revoked. (Maxim News)
