High Court Given Stay On Allotment Of Land For Market

Hyderabad, June 27 (Maxim News): The High Court of Telangana stayed the allotment of land for a market in Devarakonda, Nalgonda district.

the collector has allocated 2 acres of land belonging to the college for vegetables and meat markets. However, the Intermediate Education Commissioner opposed the Collector’s decision saying that it would cause trouble to the students there. the High Court took up the hearing.

In this background, the High Court has issued an interim order stopping the allotment of the Junior College site to the market. However, the High Court has sent notices to the Chief Secretary of the Revenue Department, the Collector, the Intermediate Education Commissioner, and the college principal to file counters. The next hearing was adjourned to August 18. (Maxim News)
